Despite being a full participant in practice this week for the first time since late last season and coming off the injury report altogether Thursday, it’s unlikely that Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray will play against the Ravens on Sunday.Though Murray, the 2019 NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and a two-time Pro Bowl selection, practiced fully for the first time since tearing his ACL last December, he was listed as doubtful in Friday’s injury report. Cardinals coach Jonathan Gannon said the quarterback is “fully healthy,” though reports have indicated the 26-year-old former No. 1 overall draft pick would be ramped up slowly, and Gannon said only “we’ll see,” when asked if he would play this week. When Ravens coach John Harbaugh was asked how he’ll handle the uncertainty of whether Murray would play, he replied similarly.“We’ll see, that’s about all you can say,” he said. “We’ll be ready ...

Concert review: Queen + Adam Lambert deliver thrilling blast of nostalgia at the X

Published Tue, 04 Mar 2025 11:07:03 GMT

Friday night at Xcel Energy Center, Queen + Adam Lambert delivered a truly memorable “Somebody to Love,” complete with the audience singing along at the end. It was such a triumphant take on the gospel-inspired 1976 hit, it felt like the encore. Thing is, there was still an hour to go.As they’ve proven in their previous two shows at the St. Paul hockey arena, Queen + Adam Lambert make for a terrific combination and that was once again the case Friday. Technically, it’s the second local stop on the group’s sprawling Rhapsody Tour, which kicked off back in July 2019, riding high on the success of the 2018 Queen biopic “Bohemian Rhapsody.” (The tour took a two-year break due to the pandemic.)But it wasn’t the same show they played at the X in August 2019. The big hits remain — “Another One Bites the Dust,” “Killer Queen,” “We Will Rock You” and “We Are the Champions” among them — but the group subbed out some of the lesser-known songs from 2019 and c...

Published Tue, 04 Mar 2025 11:07:03 GMT

With Halloween approaching, Airbnb is cracking down on disruptive and unauthorized parties in Los Angeles. The home rental property announced that it is launching an AI and machine learning system to block one-night and two-night reservations over Halloween in L.A. and throughout the United States. The new AI system will help identify and prevent high-risk booking attempts for home listings by pinpointing signals including the length of the trip, the distance of the listing, and whether the booking is last-minute, that could indicate a renter who may be attempting to use the space for an unauthorized party. “While disruptive parties are rare, we want to try to reduce the risk of them even more,” said Naba Banerjee, Head of Trust and Safety at Airbnb. “Our AI anti-party system is an important tool in helping us to do that, and we’re optimistic it will have a positive impact for our community and neighborhoods this Halloween.”The company also partnered with law enforcement from a...
