(The Hill) - Fox News host Tucker Carlson privately expressed contempt for former President Trump in text messages revealed in court filings as part of the network's ongoing legal fight with Dominion Voting Systems. "We are very very close to being able to ignore Trump most nights. I truly can't wait," Carlson wrote in one text to an unidentified Fox employee on Jan. 4, 2021, according to the filing. "I hate him passionately, I blew up at Peter Navarro today in frustration. I actually like Peter. But I can't handle much more of this." Carlson's text were included in a series of exhibits contained in new filings made by Dominion as part of its $1.6 billion lawsuit for defamation against Fox. Dominion has accused Fox of knowingly airing false claims about the company being spun by Trump and his allies. POLK COUNTY, Fla. (WFLA) — Four people are dead after two small planes collided in central Florida on Tuesday. MINNEAPOLIS (AP) — Minnesota Vikings wide receiver K.J. Osborn said he was in the “right place at the exact right time” to help save a man from a burning car.Osborn was riding in an Uber on an expressway around 2:30 a.m. Monday in Austin, Texas, when the vehicle came upon a wrecked car. Austin police said Tuesday that the car ran into a pole and caught fire. Police said the driver “had already been removed from the vehicle” by the time officers arrived.Police declined to confirm the identities of the rescuers, saying only that the investigation is ongoing. GRANBY, Mass. (WWLP) — For decades after she was found shot to death in 1978, she was known as "Granby Girl." Now, her true identity is known, according to the Northwestern District Attorney and police in Granby, Massachusetts.On November 15, 1978 a decomposing body of a young woman was found hidden underneath a log in the woods near Amherst Road in Granby. She was found shot in the head and likely died in June 1978.Due to the limited technology of the times, there was no way to identify the body. Law enforcement canvassed the area for evidence and searched missing person reports but found no leads.Thanks to recent advancements in forensic science, however, police were able to solve the case decades later.
